Mercedes Bionic Car20 Jun 2005 13:01 GMT1
When I first saw it I thought it was a concept car from one of the
Japanese auto manufacturers. Daimler-Chrysler admitted responsibility
though. The vehicle design was supposedly based upon the general
appearance and structure of the boxfish. See

changing brake switch19 Jun 2005 13:19 GMT1
Want to change brake peddle switch.. Had a look underdash,  a few screws but
didnt go ahead to remove it. Because under dash cover the hood release is
joined to the cover. Worried if I took the cover off the release button
might be hard to put back.  Can it be done easily.
1985 300D Vacuum Check Valve18 Jun 2005 18:12 GMT7
I am currently learning the vacuum system in this beast while I am
trying to fix this problem.  The problem is the locks don't work at
all and I have to manually shut off the engine from under the hood.
However, I feel I am making some progress.  When I remove the vacuum
Mercedes diesel in a jeep17 Jun 2005 19:43 GMT11
A friend and I are contemplating a diesel swap in a J series jeep truck
and we have decided that for the price the Mercedes 5-Cylinder Turbo

Unfortunate, it does not bolt up to any Jeep transmissions so we are

'97 E320 / Mass Air Meter: Can it be cleaned??17 Jun 2005 17:25 GMT4
My car has done 37,825 miles; its check engine DTC P0170 diagnosis is
that its Air Mass Meter is causing a Fuel Trim Malfunction reading.
Given its low mileage, I suspect its "hot wire" has a bit of dirt on it.
I've read that some ES300 Lexus owners in England have very very
Low mileage 190E vs high mileage 300E17 Jun 2005 15:43 GMT8
I've been checking out the classifieds for and just looking at some 300E
models as an alternative to a 190E (hey before I spend my money I should
check out everything).  I've found some nice, affordable 300E's for around
the three thousand dollar range, but they all seem to have ...

Need Input on Troubleshooting 1984 190D That Won't Start17 Jun 2005 07:15 GMT5
I've got a 1984 190D that will not start. I removed main fuel filter &
found a lot of dirt in it - cleaned it out completely & reinstalled it;
still won't start. It turns over very strong; just won't fire off (so it's
not starter.) Only have had the car about 6months - I am ...
