While spending a lot of time this morning in the front adding an additional oil cooler,I finally noticed that my headlights have a black selector switch on each headlight.Right side(standing in front)says normal and left side,recklast.What is its function?It's a 76 450SE euro

I am just wondering what the difference is between a SLC and an SCL? Are they the same car? I've seen photographs of them both and they seem very similar but I'm not 100% sure.

How does one remove the door handle on a 201 190E? I got the electrical connection for the power door lock off and also the hex nut from the side of the handle. Is there anything else to take off? How do I get it off the door?

92 190E 2.6, Driving along at 70 mph, I raised the windows and switched on the A/C. It was as if the car went into a lower gear when the compressor engaged and I could actually feel the load on the engine so I switched it back off. No squealing belts or unusual

The ignition lock cylinder appears to have worn out. For the last year the mechanism has appeared a liitle loose. Now the key will not unlock the ignition.Working the key back and forth finally allowed me to go home.

Seems like lately all my vehicles have been running poorly on Chevron.I always use super and feels like regular unleaded instead.It's been about 7 years since I have used any other brand so can anyone recommend another brand of fuel that is GOOD ?Thanks

Can someone with access to the Mercedes manuals kindly post the total coolant capacity for the non-turbo 300D engine (617.912). This is for a 1980 300TD. Also the correct coolant/water ratio. The best antifreeze to use is still Zerex G-05, right?
