1997 E320. 129K miles. Only $9K. It checked out good at an independent shop. It even came with the MB (Alpine?) CD changer in the trunk and the MB hands-free cell phone.

A friend of mine wants to buy a Mercedes sedan but it's worried about the reliability declining of some European cars, like MB, Jag etc. For that reason he may purchase a used MB and would like to know the year when the decline started.

| '87 300D question | 20 Jul 2005 17:12 GMT | 2 |
A friend of mine purchased an '87 300D since I had highly recommended an MB diesel in the 300 series. I was on vacation at the time and when I returned he brought the car by for me to look at. This is the 124 body style with a six cylinder turbo, much different than my earlier 300D. ...

| Accelerator Sticky | 20 Jul 2005 13:09 GMT | 2 |
Just bought a 96 E320. The car is great and in pristine condition. However, the gas pedal seems to be a little sticky. Takes a bit of effort compared to my other cars to get it going. Is this just a Mercedes thing or is this something that can be adjusted/fixed? Thanks! RW

| Auxillary fans | 19 Jul 2005 22:41 GMT | 2 |
My A/C compressor has not worked for about a year and I do not want to replace it. Does this mean that my auxillary fans will not come on? I ask this as the car starts to go above 100 when idling in traffic and then the temp goes down when I am out of traffic (1994 E320 Coupe).

| NEED INPUT Troubleshooting 190D-Won't Start | 19 Jul 2005 02:25 GMT | 5 |
I've got a 1984 190D that will not start - the starter & battery are fine - it turns over very strong; it just won't catch and fire off, as it were. I am not extremely well-versed on diesel engines; if it were a gasoline engine, I'd probably be capable of reasoning it out. I ...

| Well, I got a car! | 18 Jul 2005 21:03 GMT | 1 |
Sorry to disappoint, but it's a 1995 Audi 90 S. Red/black, 130k, service records since new, five speed, nice car. I got it for a price that I couldn't turn down, and it's just damn good fun to drive. Ultimately I figured it would be a better car in the long run, since it is 10 years ...
