I am looking for a little net.knowledge on what might be wrong with my
88 mercedes 190e 2.3.
It is hard to start when cold.  Pump the pedal to force an enrichment
cycle while turning the key and it will start but the idle is real low

I'm looking at a couple of used ones for work cars.
(I drive about 100 miles a day and drove an old 300DT
for a while.  Definitely a step up from my recently-

1992 190E 2.6 135,000 miles,   A/C 7is blowing cool, not cold.   Still
running on R12,  I am now considering Converting  to R134a instead of
recharging with  $$ R12  A/C was working perfectly in March, so  I

I bought a '79 MB 240d at a repo auction about a year ago.
Odometer does not work, reads 198k miles.
Do not know any history of the car.

'92 300TE w/ 142k miles.  Blower Motor totally out - all levels.
1. Checked voltages at Blower Motor Regulator connector (located above
and behind the brake boost)

that water pump "IS" going to come out.... slowly I appear to be working down
to the nitty gritty.  It appears there is no way around removing the Tensioner
mechanism in order to get at the 'evil' front/bottom bolt holding the water
