Can someone please tell me how do I get the alternator back on my 1988
300e.  I’ve tried top bolt, then bottom bolt....neither works.  I must
be doing something wrong, missing a step, because I know that this
change should not take more than 1hr.  I’ve been looking at this now

Well, I reluctantly have decided to part with my 300SDL. This car has
an unbelievably sound engine (253K) and transmission ($1700 rebuild 30K

Without stating the obvious, anyone know what the job of the speed sensor is

engine had a different ignition system. The engine that was in the car had
the EZL ingnition system, but the new engine have the TSZ system. On the EZL
system, the control box is controlling the ignition through ...

I am surprised that I have not been able to find any info on changing
the steering coupling on my 107 Mercedes.  I have found some vague
suggestions that it is easier to drop the steering  box then to pull

I have a 1987 MB 300e W124 I have 2 problems with it:
1: The car starts great after it reaches operating temp no power and runs
rich.
2: After the car is turned of 5-30 minutes after the ign. is on and the keys
