This is a weird one. When I use my '84 W123 280e for the first time in
a day I get a noticable vibration through the steering wheel as I
corner for the first time. Sometimes it'll do it the second time too,

    I have a '79 mb 240d, over 200k miles.
    noticed a whup-whup=whup noise from passenger side front end this am.
    increases w speed, seems to go away at hiway speed.
    I think it is a wheel bearing.

It's been sitting (after 300,000 miles) in the garage for 7 years, but
