intermittent wipers don't work on 2000 CLK32008 Aug 2005 03:36 GMT1
My wife has had the car for about 8 months - currently 58k miles.  The
dealer told us that the int. wipers did not work b/c the windshield had been
replaced with one w/o a rain sensor.  The only way to get them to work would
be to replace the windshield. Is that correct?

Metal Conditioners - do they work?06 Aug 2005 17:52 GMT2
Have been doing some web research on oil Additives, and so far, only the

Climate control problems06 Aug 2005 14:36 GMT6
First my driver's side window regulator gives out. Then, just as 95
degree weather hits, my climate control has decided to quit...no fan,
no switching between vents, nothing but hot air blowing out of the
defroster and dash vents. The recirculate button doesn't switch on or
Problem with starting my 420 SE (W126)06 Aug 2005 14:35 GMT2
Cold or warm, I often experience some difficulties starting the engine:
at the first crank it's revs up and immediately drops dead.
When I try again it won't start anymore. After insisting serveral
minutes, it starts running again, quite normally.
fram oil filter06 Aug 2005 05:32 GMT5
I was out of town when I did my last Oil change and I noticed that they put
an orange Fram filter instead of the usual Black BOSCH or MANN. What is the
difference (I noticed that FRAM is WAY cheaper) and will that do any harm?
Thanks.
