I have recently noticed this weird sound coming from the rear of my '84

99 Taurus Wagon 165K miles. Starter tries but almost like a week battery.
Jumped it first to see if will start but behaves the same - just kinda
clicks. Relay is ok. There is power to starter. Connections are tight.
Feels like starter is locked up when trying to start.

'81 300D, non-turbo. The manual seems to show it being nothing more than
removing the pulley and damper to get to the seal. My question might seem a
bit strange but you never know what you'll run into when ...

On a 126 the rear vent and the front center vents is for a/c and fresh air
only. Heat for the rear comes from under the front seats. Heat for the front
comes out of the side and under dash vents unless the defroster mode is

My father delivered his '94 C280 (280.000km) to the dealer, to fix an oil
leak. After the leak was fixed, the car wouldn't start. The cause was found
quite easily: all insulation of the cables in the wiring harness
("kabelboom" in Dutch, in case somebody's looking for this keyword) ...

The battery is about 8 years old now. Nothing wrong yet, spoke to
dealership service department, they said 'don't worry about'.

All the switches on the front center consoles controlling the 4 power
windows, sides power mirrows, lock are not working.  I tried the
window switches on the rear center console and it is not working too.
It seems there is no power going there.
