My local MB dealer changed the Xenon headlamp beam pattern on my E class for
European driving by flicking a switch on the back of the headlight. Now I'm

I have a 230 123 motor with a 4 speed manual , wondering if it will be a
hard install to put it in a W116 both are 1977 's.
Any help or comments appreciated,

1996 300E diesel.  I cannot synchronise the immobiliser correctly using the
key fob and rear mirror receiver.  I tried pressing the button twice then
turning the ignition key, this should sync the immobiliser, but I keep
getting red and green lights flashing together on the rear ...

I notice at certain angles that the windshield has a trapezoidal section of
about 4 - 5 inches each side towards the bottom center.  It can be seen only
from certain angles.  It appears darker than the rest of the windshield.
What is this for?  It appears intentional in design.  ...

I found this forum a few months after I purchased my W126. There are
some very helpful individuals who just do it for the love of the W126
and other MB model.
