How long should take a professional with the right tools and expertise
to replace a lower ball joint to an S500 year 2000? I know that the
part is not expensive but I have been getting quotes all over the map
depending on labor cost.

Firstly if this group does not cover newer vehicles I appologise and would
appreciate a pointer to a more relevant newsgroup if there is one.
I recently purchased a RHD VClass with a wheelchair lift (rear) on behalf of
a relative.

Just got four brand new tires for the 300E.  Went from Michelins to
Yokohamas. Same thing happens with these...if I have to make a sudden
stop (say, 40mph to a quick stop), the brakes perform OK but geez the
tires make a very loud humming noise as the car slows down. Normal?

Can one use Regular gas in a  Mercedes ?

or do I have to continue to use Premium gas ?

I've got a problem with importing a vehicle into Australia.

also , I followed the instructions provided in the manual i.e removed
the manual key element , prised of battery tray and replaced the two
battterys with positive facing upwards.

( This would be great to drive on the beach,

on my 95 E320 check engine light came on with the follow codes set:
- EGR, which I understand indicates a clogged EGR tube
- transmission up shift delay - not sure what this means or what causes it
can any one validate my assumption on the EGR and demystify the up shift

how can i top up/change the geabex oil. the car seems to have an
intermitant problem where it wont go into 3rd gear. anyone help?
