An enlarging family and an aging volvo are forcing some decisions.
So, I have been looking at some 7 seaters and have narrowed the choice
down to one of the v class options or a vw caravelle.

Hey guys. I changed out my glow plugs today and after getting wires
and battery hooked up again, I turned the key, heard "pop" and the 80
amp was blown. The glow plug light will not light up, i checked the
bulb. I jumped #1 and #3 to test circuit, and still no light. Any

I don't quite know what to think about this problem.
Yesterday the MIL came on . The car seemed to drive allright and I did not
notice any degradation in performance.
I did a generic OBDII diagnostic with a laptop interface program/connector

the battery was changed a week ago. the windows gave problems but is now
o.k. Now the electronic key does turn inside the ignition. when trying
sometimes the dash lights come on and sometimes they don't. any
suggestions to cure this problem. I am currently waiting for a tow ...

I did the whole "jack the car up/ wiggle wheel test". But i'm not sure what steps need to be taken to get to the bearring. Any feedback will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Im looking to buy a 1998-2000 SL320 or SL280. Has anyone got links to sites
that can give me tips on buying such models? Or has anyone got tips fullstop
on what to look out for? Is there a big difference in the reliability of the
320 vs 280? Any help would be appreciated.

My dashboard temperature indicator light seems to have burned out. Can
it be replaced by me (enthusiastic, but limited skills) or is it another
opportunity for my dealer to finance a mortgage payment? Advice
