I have a 1980 240D manual 4-spd.  I love the car but wish I didn't rev
so high at highway speeds.  Is there a 5-spd that fits and how
difficult is it.  I am pretty handy with a wrench.

the taillights (not brake lights) to appear somewhat dim and only light
up on only the corners almost behind the turn signal.

'91 300 CE runs great but when the accelerator pedal is first depressed, the
engine stumbles for a second or two then takes off. Any ideas about the

I was visiting relatives in Paramus, New Jersey and stopped by Prestige MB
where they had the new MY2007 S500 in the showroom.  I saw it last Thursday
and they had just gotten it in the day before.  They're only taking
pre-orders.

I have had an ongoing problem with glow plugs burning up.....I replace
them and within a couple of months at least 2 have burned out
.......these plugs show signs of overheating......can anyone help?

except headgasket but that dont bother me what bothers me is i have to
clean ma spark plugs every 3 to 5 months they get oily and corosion
then i get problems like hesitation from start lil rough indling but

Have got a 1998 ml320 with 78K on the clock. It has been recently serviced
INCLUDING all 12 plugs !!! Now the b*tch is miss firing at 4K revs and I can
not get it past that mark on the rev counter becuase the mssing is so
severe - feels like I am only firing on two cylinders.

I just got my beloved 190e back from the garage. I had new lower arms fitted
to the front due to steering creaks.
The car handled brilliantly before I took it in, it was just the noise that
was the problem.
