Ole Jeremy below said the new S Klasses have many miles (more or less)
of wire in them to run all the miracle tech thingies. That is
wonderfullll !!!! It will sure mean lots of work for gud ole Hanz und

Hello: I posted back some time about some problems about my 300E cutting
out.  I replaced a whole bunch of parts and went to the mechanic who
discovered fuel odor in the crankcase.  The 02 sensor, and the cat were
replaced, all the header gaskets are tight and sealed with the oxygen

We have somewhat of a bouncy ride here in California. Just wonder what
tires are recommended on freeway driving typical to California. We
bought our MB used and it has good looking tires.. but I know they are
made in Japan or Korea. Thanks.

The dealer says I need a new engine, but I believe other wise.  The
wagon has a very VERy low idle speed, and continually stalls out.  It
is hard to start and keep running.  It behaves better when it is hot

Hi all, the odometer and trip odometer just stopped working this
morning.  It seemed to happen after I filled my car up with gas and
reset the trip odometer as I normally do.  The speedometer works fine
though.  Any suggestions??  Thanks!

Once in a while my A/C does not come on when I start the car.  (three
times so far)  Twice it eventually came on, but once I had to shut the
car off and restart, then it came on immediately.  Turning the system

i have a 1984 300D turbo that makes the classic clunk from left rear when i
slow down after 30-40 minutes of highway driving.  it has been doing this
for a while now and i want to get it repaired.  a local able mechanic can do

My transmission seems to be slipping. Still strong on highway and whenever
car has momentum. Slips when stopping and turning. Reverse wont engage until
engine is reved-up. Seems better when cold? Adding fluid causes smoking! Do
you  think changing the fluid and filter may help?
