I went out to start my '82 300D turbo and the glow plug light did not come on? I switched the key on and off a couple of times, still not light. I then turn the key and waited ~20 seconds, the normal time for the glow plugs to heat up in the morning, then cranked the car to see

Can anyone tell me where the auxillary fan relay is located on a 1979 300SD? Applying a jumper to the fan from the battery makes it come on, but shorting the leads from the high temp switch on the AC dryer does not. The auxillary relay seems to me to be the next logical step.

It's usually a 12-15 second crank to start my hot engine. But if it's been sitting with the engine off for more than say 30 minutes, it starts right up. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Greetins all, my nice 240D has a sunroof that will not seal properly. When closing the rear pass side of the sunroff is depressed and looks sunkent into the roof.
