I took out the vacuum pump on my 1982 300d turbo. I purchased a rebuild kit for it and I am trying to rebuild it. what I've doen so far: I removed the pump from the car and bolted it to a board with a socket

I have been doing some research about the 1992 500E sedan. Apparently it was a collaboration between Porche and MB. Is there someone out there that owns one. If so, what is the opinion. Was it a winner or a loser. What were the problems or idiosycrasies with the car?

Has anyone replaced the fatory stereo? Would like one with a direct input for a satellite radio or ipod. Have tried other methods, not happy. Are there units that can adapt to the existing MB speakers etc...

Is it difficult to bypass the ignition switch and have the cigarette lighter outlet hot all times? I use the lighter outlet for an Ipod and would like to have it hot regardless of the ignition switch position. Thanks...
