Has anyone else needed to replace the wiring harness on their 300D? I have a 1997 and have been told by my mechanic that this problem was common with this model. Thanks!

All, I have a strange issue on my 1985 300SD. The car has 215K miles and rotors and pads were changed less than 10K miles ago. Brake Fluid was also flushed.

got a busted shock in my 87 300td wagon and , instead of relacing it, im going to replace both rear shocks with regular shocks and disable the hydrallic. anyone else ever done this ?
