My E 320 has been in good shape for all 115000 miles.One annoying problem-
there is a vibration in the brake pedal when I depress it; this improves
after I powerwash the wheels.Does brakedust cake or somehow build up in the
calipers?

How can I defeat the seat belt and Remove Key squawkers in a 2002 E320.
That alone is causing me to really dislike the car!  I talked to the service
department and they only said "Don't, it's done for a reason."  (Yeah, to
annoy knowledgeable drivers!)

I asked about an orange ASD light on my w124 dashboard a while back.
I found a post on a German messageboard that described the diagnostics
procedure, I thought I'd share it in case someone encounters the same
problem, it seems common.

i went to the salvage yard to pull a magnet for my clutch fan and lo an
behold it was welded neatly in 4 spots.  i got to thinking,  this would
work for me,  its just a little local runabout.  anybody done this?

I would like to store my 500E for the winter.  No point in destroying the
body in salt and snow.  Is there a recommended procedure for winter storage?

What is the typical price for 4 new brakes along with rotors?
My E320 wagon (2004) has around 25,000 miles on it.  The dealership told
me I needed brakes and rotors too.  They charged me $1,200 for this job!

I've a 2001 C240 that I bought about 6 months ago.
Twice now in the past week, something eerily scary happened. I inserted
the key into the slot and *nothing* happened. Once, twice, thrice,

So my latest problem from my High Quality S Klass is that the little

Having some trouble with the door locks. Haven't really diagnosed yet
but I suspect it's a vaccum issue.

I am going to start to try to get my car running nice again.  I pulled
the spark plugs and they are needing replacement and are bosch platinum.
I have heard numerous times to not use platinum with this car.  Why?
