Hi, I know a couple who have been housing a 1968 200d in an old barn
the last few decades; vehicle has no rust and runs perfectly. They are
asking $3k for the initial buying price, would I be able to turn much
of a profit via ebay motors for such a car? I am NOT an automotive

1984 300D mechanical question - 300 000km on engine10 Aug 2006 11:25 GMT3
I own aformentioned car and it used to leak one or two drops of engine
oil a day (not sure of the exact area where the oil is leaking from).
Lately it has increased a lot and to top it off, my gas filter is now
leaking. I'd like to as a mechanic here how much labour/cost would be
1994 e420 have to hold gas down to start car when cold??10 Aug 2006 05:24 GMT12
The car is now barely driveable.  When its cold it will just crank and
crank and crank but when you hold the gas down(like a carburated car)
then it starts and then you have to hold the gas down to keep it running
until it gets warm.  When it gets warm it will idle perfectly but you

I've got 2 error codes.  032 and 035.
032 is on the 02 sensor and 035 is on the 02 sensor heater.
I've never heard of an 02 sensor heater
Anyone got a convenient link to some data on the web on this?

Problem with Alarm SLK 230 (99)09 Aug 2006 20:36 GMT8
Since my last MB dealer visit I have a problem with my alarm system.
The alarm goes on without any reason in my garage. Moreover, I observed
that the right light of the tow-away button is constantly on no matter
whether the car is locked or not. It is on and pulsing if it is locked.
W126 AC Relay Question09 Aug 2006 19:34 GMT1
Just had gas put in the AC on my 91 350 SDL today. Works fine when moving 30
mph or more. Blows warm when stopped for a bit like the aux fan isn't coming
on.

MB Services Market Case, Opinions. Long.08 Aug 2006 23:27 GMT17
In a small, free market country, with entrepeneurial culture:
MB's new car sales have been growing by a strong 20% average during the last
five years in this country. In 2005, sales grew by a dramatic 75% (mostly C
Class), almost doubling the sales volume in two years.

72 280SE differential fluid08 Aug 2006 15:35 GMT2
What fluid is recommended for the rear differential?
upgading to newer benz08 Aug 2006 04:07 GMT3
I've decided to upgade from my 95 c class to something fancier, and
pehaps newer.  While the 2001 and up c class has been thoroughly
trashed, they are cheap as used cars so that is one model under
consideration (c320 sedan and wagon). Likewise the previous e class
Steering Wheel and Ignition Locked 1990 300E07 Aug 2006 22:52 GMT9
My mom initially thought she locked the steering wheel on her Mercedes,
but after I checked it out, I think her ignition is locked too.  It
