Got a Bosch rebuilt starter today for my 380sl today. Got  out my 10mm
Allen socket, a swivel, and some extensions, and got under the car.
However, I'm having a lot trouble seating the Allen in the starter's
upper bolt because of a line running down into the transmission. I

I've a 2001 C240. From the past week, I've experienced something weird.
The engine starts up on cranking and immediately shuts off. After 3
such attempts or so, everything goes eerily blank and I can do nothing
but retract the key and wait. Some 3 min or so later, I hear the same

in general, can one cut the fuel delivery line (I know the return line is OK
to open... just finished doing that).  I'm supposing that if the pump has a
diaphragm, it should be OK... if not there could be some fuel spilling out.
Is it just a 'bit' or lots????
