Will the AC control unit from a Generation 1 W126 ( 81-85 ) Chassis work
on my Gen 2

If you press and hold the REST button for 5 seconds you get into some
monitoring system that shows the status of most things in the car.  Does
anyone have a list of what the code mean and what is being monitored.  Some
are obvious such as the RPM, Speed and temp but others..

My classic 1980 began to have problems  getting out of reverse and back

My 83 300D Turbo diesel has a high crank case pressure. There is a lot

How much play is allowed in the front subframe?  I can move it both
side to side and front to back with a pry bar.  Approx 1/4 to 1/2
inches.  I am wondering if this might be causing my steering to feel
loose.

I have a 124 series E220 and for the last few weeks every now and again the
srs warning light comes on for a few seconds only on my usual short trips.
If I call an auto electrician presumably as the "fault" is intermittent it
will be difficult to trace.Has anyone had this problem?
