My 83 300SD has a problem of not starting sometimes. It only happens after
long trips(30 miles or more)
and it has left me stranded a few times.  After about an hour it will start,
so I was told it was the neutral safety

can any one help? i have a 1989 300sl which starts and runs for 1 or 2
seconds,then cuts out.the problem seems to be no power to the fuel pump
. if power is applied directly to fuel pump then there is no
problem.this is an intermitant problem and is driving me nuts! i live

A *red* cross is the international symbol of first aid,

My 1995 S500 has self leveling rear suspension but not with ADS
adaptive dampening. On the right side I have no shock dampening. Which
part is faulty, the strut or the nitogen sphere? The auto leveling is

sure.  Symptons are that my 300E stalls, particularly if not properly warmed

suppose the original engine of a 1987 260E car has been replaced by the
original owner.  Would it be possible to determine the VIN of the
engine that is currently in the car?  Is this VIN stamped somewhere on
the engine?  It is useful for determine correct part number to order
