can anyone tell me how to test a cold start valve and thermo time switch
on a 73 450sl?

Can anyone recommend a source for the clips that secure the plastic body
side trim pieces on a 126 series MB? All my trim is in good shape but some
of the little clips have disintegrated to nothing.

My 95 S320 has recently developed a surging idle.  I read through
previous posts and tried a few things but problem persists.
At idle, in or out of gear and hot or cold, idle surges between
500-700 rpm with an occasional peak to 1000.  I disconnected the MAS
