| leather care recommendation? | 29 Nov 2006 21:02 GMT | 8 |
What are you using for leather care? There are many leather care products. And then, some never use any leather care. Leather is a live product (I guess technically that is a dead product, the skin of dead animals!) and it needs periodic cleaning and nourishment.

| Block Heater trouble | 29 Nov 2006 20:57 GMT | 3 |
I have an 83 300SD, and when I plug in the block heater, it trips the GFI outlet that I have it plugged in to. I know it is neither the cord or the outlet that is the problem. Thanks for the help!

| 1983 300SD | 29 Nov 2006 20:51 GMT | 10 |
I'm considering buying a 1983 300SD with 127,000 miles. The asking price is $3500. Does this sound like a fair price? I'm going to have the car inspected by a mechanic and also get a carfax report for the car. What are the most important things to consider about the car

| Power Loss + Transmission "jumpy" | 29 Nov 2006 20:44 GMT | 3 |
I just bought an '81 300SD turbodiesel (~200k miles) and the acceleration is slow and power is ridiculously low. I suspected the injector heads + fuel lines were dirty and built-up, so i did a diesel purge (using lubroMoly) and replaced both fuel filters. Power or

| 116 Speedometer Howling | 29 Nov 2006 20:38 GMT | 6 |
Yesterday I drove the old 300SD to San Francisco. When I started on the freeway the speedometer suddenly started howling - definitely speed related - howl suddenly starts at 25 mph and increases from there. It's definitely the cable end or the bearing into the speedometer.

| Keyless Entry | 29 Nov 2006 09:53 GMT | 1 |
My keyless entry stopped working on my 96 E320. In the past I would get the red and green blinking lights that told me the battery was low on the key, but I didn't get that this time. I replaced the batteries anyway, and it still doesn't work. Anyone know the problem? Is ...

| using bulbs with different current | 29 Nov 2006 09:42 GMT | 6 |
If I replace my 6w sidelights with longer life LED bulbs taking a few milliamps, presumably the ship-board computer will think the bulbs have blown and will continue to annoy me by saying so every time I turn them on. Is there a way to tell the computer to expect low current drain ...

| Most People Will Never Know About Biodiesel | 29 Nov 2006 09:31 GMT | 3 |
What kind of difference can the use biodiesel make when it comes to changing the world for the better? Perhaps the biggest impact of the use of biodiesel fuel instead of just plain diesel is on the human health and the environment.

The car has always started and ran fine. I drove it this morning and parked it for lunch. After lunch, I got in to start it and it just cranked and cranked. It doesn't start. The car is a 99 E55. Is there a couple obvious places to look for a master control fuse or something
