I own a 92 300D (2.5) and can get a 92 300TE at a very reasonable price. I
would like to covert the wagon to diesel using the 300D as a donner.
My major areas of concern are:
- will transmission have to be swapped?

Last week had new rear brakes pads installed on 1987 300E. Since then,
intermittent ABS light on dash. When ABS light is lit, car has a cold
start problem that can only be overcome by leaving foot halfway down
on accelerator pedal.

I have a 1999 E320 with some burned out heater control lamps and need to
remove the radio cluster... I think.
Any help out there?

I am looking at a 78 300D. The issue is its my first diesel and I have
been told by the owner that the climate control servo needs to be
replaced. They have set the servo so the heater works and purged the
system of freon. Here is my issue, after talking to a couple of shops

The garage set up my idle speed too high, around 1,200 RPM. I understand
it's supposed to be about 800 RPM. How may I change it without taking
the car back to the shop at $90 an hour?
It just runs annoyingly fast at idle.
