[ i HAVE RECENTLY EXPERIENCED A HUMMING ROAD NOISE THAT IS AUDIBLE AT ABOUT 40 MPH AND GETS LOUDER AS SPEED INCREASES AND VICE VERSA. HAVE GOT NEW TYRES AND AM ADVISED THAT MY BRAKES ARE OK.................ANY THOUGHTS PLEEEEEESE !!!! :roll:

I have a 1988 300E mercedes and it won't start. I put a new starter in and still nothing. When I turn the key everything comes on (lights, radio etc) but the car ignition will not start. I was thinking it may be the kill- switch, but I don't know where it's located at. Can ...

I have of course an 83 300sd, and in the morning when I start it, it's idle speed goes up and down. I also think that it idles low, (about 750) any help?

Earlier in the week my 87 300SDL began buzzing at me intermittently. The circumstances are that the buzzer sounds when brakes are applied, but not all the time. I have no warning lights that come on (assuming that all of them do work). So my question is what alert uses a buzzer

couple of faults that are really bugging me. I have a 1989 230 te auto, and its got a problem of over revving after startup and when driving cold also the passenger windows dont come down on the electric windows and the passenger side only blows cold air whereas the drivers

I have a 1983 300sd, and the vent below the center console that points toward the rear seats only blows cold air. I live in Colorado so I kind of need it. Does anyone have any idea of what the cause could be? Thanks for the help!

First, I want to say thanks to all here, I have "lurked" here for 18 or so months and have learned a lot. I at current own 2 MB's, usually trouble free (1986 300E 3.0 5spd and a 1995 600SL auto) Both are US spec.

pulling out the pioneer CD to replace it with a becker europa mdl 683 that matches the knobs for the ac controls. Looks better, Does anyone know what becker was supplied by the factory for this 240D? I'll be patching the radio back in, as the connectors from the orig
