Does an employer get to control employees what cars to drive if they receive car allowance?02 Mar 2007 03:27 GMT5
Can an employer provide a certain amount of "car allowance" to
employees, and then force those employees to drive vehicles that are
higher than a certain class (in another word, not allow them to drive
crappy cars) and force them to renew the vehicles in a certain

Current news reports (in the UK) state that some petrol stations might
be supplying contaminated lead-free petrol, which damages the O2
sensor and possibly the cat converter.
So what happens if the lead from the sensor is merely disconnected at

Temperature was eight degrees F. this AM. Wasn't sure the car, a 1981
300SD, would start. Three times with the glow plugs and she fired right

 I've put together a little serial code reader for my '89 300E that is
running OK but not well... idle is rough.... and I 'will' track the problem
down.  Which pins on my X11 socket that accesses the ECU will read the most
important codes.  Appreciate any help.

These run along the painted post between the window and door.
Mine have split at the top and let in annoying amounts of wind noise.
