The heater blower motor won’t stop running. Even after I remove the ignition key... it keeps blowing! I must remove the 30A fuse, otherwise my battery will die. Any thoughts to the cause/source of the problem? Thanks.

Every now again, either when the engine is running or not a very noisy motor starts up. According to my local Merc dealer it is the servo motor for the breaking system and they say it is normal. Has anyone else experienced this and if so am I being told the truth?
I have a 98 E320. I am unable to move the drivers seat rearward using the switch on the door panel, however the seat will move rearward when I use a one of the preselected memory buttons on the door panel switch. So I know the motor works.
