Has anyone ever put a manual transmission on an 83 300SD, or heard of it?  If
so, what transmission should I use?

The battery died in my '86 560SEC after the car sat for a week. The battery
is new. Charged it up,started the car and verified that the alternator was
charging. Looking into the fusebox under the hood, I noticed that a relay
was hot to the touch. There are 6 relays in the drivers ...

i had major tune up ,but still had the missfiring, which start when the car
heat  up or after driving for more the 20 minutes.

I want to install a Becker grand prix 2000 stereo into my 1983 500 SL,
but the wiring for the radio is a bit confusing to me:
blue + brown + brown + green/red wires together
red and grey wires together

I am getting ready to put in a used 1986 190E engine with 103,000 miles on
it into the car. Compression is 155-157. While the engine is still out, is
there anything that I should look for or renew? Things like re-torqing the
head bolts, new gaskets or seals, oil pump inspection,  ...

Has anyone tried installing one, and was mileage or performance gained? I
have a few small aluminum race car radiators at work, but don't know if i
want to go thru the work involved in doing it right.

One of the keys to my ML320 failed (not just a bad battery.)
I purchased a new key from a Mercedes dealer by mail and it arrived
today, properly cut so that it operates the ignition lock.  What it
doesn't do is lock or unlock the doors.
