My daughter's 1987 300D (W124) has developed a significant oil leak
during highway driving.  No significant oil loss in normal city
driving but it goes through a quart of oil in 100 miles at highway
speeds, and leaves a huge puddle of oil when she stops.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Driving down the highway, stated
loosing power, car died, will not restart. Pulled pri. fuel filter,
appeared ok, pulled glow plugs and all are working. BUT, the glow
plugs are dry when I pulled them after cranking the car. Any

New Bosch part in Bosch box. Number on box is 3437010040 which all the parts
