I have an 89 560SL. I need to remove the climate control switch unit. My shop CD says remove the ashtray and then pull the control unit out forward. I cannot see how to do this. Do I need to remove the two screws in the back of the ashtray cavity? Does the control

The steering is really loose and sloppy on my wife's '85 300D. We knew this when we got it, and the big thing at first was that the steering box/gear was completely and utterly shot. Got a new one, had the shop put it in and it was like a new car. However, that's not everything

Please help, my battery went dead over winter and radio probably lost it's code. when I turn it on it comes up "wait" . I have tried to enter radio code, although not sure how to do it, nothing happens. Any ideas? Has standard Becker radio as comes with car.

1984 Mercedes 500 SEL Euro. The wheel hub on one of the rear wheels has stripped lug bolt threads. I want to replace this part now, but I dont know how to remove it. I know that there is a bolt in the center, and I have removed it and tried as hard as possible to pull it out,

My horn got stuck on my '96 C280 to the point of burn out and I tried to replace them myself (no mechanic here). I bought original parts (2 horns) from a dicount parts dealer who assured me these 2 horns were the ones for my car. The boxes do say Merce-Benz Original

84 500 SEL. Idles around 1800. When the idle computer is unplugged, there is no change what so ever in the idle, at all. Bad unit?

I've just bought a B class, non-turbo because the turbo was quite 'twitchy' off the start. Anyone interested how the driving experience will be and how it behaves let me know. cheers, guenter
