Just had the front right coil spring crack on my e420 and wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue and whether this was normal or a manufacturing defect. In looking at the spring after the MB dealer completed the repair, there is rust only where the spring seperated

Wow, What a difference in top end performance. Yesterday I had the ac on mz, climbing a long grade and I was topping out around 65. Jeeze. This morning I changed the filters and filled the metal one with a diesel fuel treatment and what a difference. Same hill post

I'm trying to locate the engine speed sensor on my California spec 300d. My compressor and my tach are both not working and I have read that they are both enabled by the impulse fro0m the speed sensor. I just don't know what I'm looking for. Any help will be greatly

Ok heres the situation. Pulled the engine and transmission to change a rear main seal out and reseal the steering. I had to turn the engine, and I turned it the opposite direction on accident. I had to replace the oil pan gasket and there was a piece of white plastic in with the

I think he's getting the run around. The oil light on my brother's ML320 keeps coming on and he has to add oil pretty often. So the car is in for inspection tomorrow and he talked to the mechanic. The mechanic said this is "normal" and every 600 miles one has to add oil.

I have a 97 E420 MBz and have had the second rear window operation fail. The regulator mechanism (cables, etc.) failed. The rear right window failed about 2-1/2 years ago. The window mechanism behind the driver failed last month.

2003 E500 brake by wire. Do the rent and rear brake pads wear the same? Without brake by wire the front pads usually needs replacing before the rear pads.

Hi, I am having problems with 1991 190 2.3ltr Merc. Wont start. Fires up with squirt os start fluid so will presume ignition is OK. Fuel flow checks out OK. Pressure at delivery to distributor valve goes off scale on guage (140 psi)
