I need to renew the rubber boots on the CV joints on the rear axle of my 1982 300 TDT. Do I have to completely remove the rear axle? If not, is there a way to do it leaving the coil springs and struts in place?

On my 84 300D, I have fabric hoses running from the main fuel filter, to the first injector, then out the other side of the injector to the next one and so on to the last one, and then its plugged at the end. What are these, and should they be leaching fuel? Can I replace them

My sun roof will open using the overhead switch but the close operation of the switch is inoperative.I had to crank it closed.All fuses check OK.How do I get at the open/close switch to check or replace it.Thanks for any help

my car performs perfectly except for when I drive it from a cold start the transmission changes seem delayed and are certainly harsh. After about 5 minutes of running the changes settle down and are good. All other aspects of the transmission operation seem normal.

Hi there, how are you doing? My wife and I have a 2005 MB C230 and recently the plastic handle on the door (on the driver side) was broken (almost fell off), so we sent the car into the dealership for repair as it's still under warranty.

I have the WIS software installed on my computer, and it works fine. My question is, I remember reading about someone having some kind of a menu program or interface that made this software easier to use. Is this the case? or was I just imagining things?
