i have a problem with my mother's W123 light system.  the headlights (low
and high beam) do not go on with the light switch in the 'on' position (two
clockwise clicks from 'off').  parking lights, blinkers, &c. all work.

Having a problem where the parking brake does not release fully. It appears
that the rear cables from the equalizer arm to the parking brake shoes are
sticking.
Anybody been there and done that?

As I continue to get to know my "new" 1984 300sd I have

has been great so far. I have been running it on a 50/50 blend of
biodiesel and dinodiesel. No problems with power or mileage. Idles

for the 1979 W123 300D? At some point, someone cut a line and capped
it off with a wood screw, and I do not know where the line connects,
only that my door locks, cruise control and climate control vents do
