2003 CD220i sometimes wont start, full power everywhere, just wont
turnover, starts after about 5mins keep turning the key on/off.

Well, I had the air conditioning recharged and the Freon leaked out in 2
days.  A local shop is recommending I convert over to the new refrigerant at
a cost of $175, then have them troubleshoot the leak at additional cost.
Does this make sense?  I may only keep the car another ...

I have a 1985 300D. What do you think is the best repair manual
available? Also, do you have a source for ordering?

Got an inteesting one here - the car is a UK 1997 230e estate.
It would appear the immobiliser is not turning off when I open the car.
I can open the doors, turn the engibe over but I cannot hear the fuel
pump spooling up.

I need to change the drivebelt on my 1985 W201. The car has no AC. I am  
wondering if it is sufficient to loosen the alternator so the tension of  
the belt gets slack enough to get the belt off, or is it anything else I  
need to take in consideration?

I was in the process of swapping some NGK iridium's in my '05 c230 k
4dr. sport when I discovered
no. 2 plug came out completely covered in oil with oil showing at the
bottom of the thread hole. All
