Which Oil? C240 - 200213 Jun 2008 00:28 GMT1
One more question. As my car is out of warranty, I am thinking to take
it to independent mechanic for Service B which is due in few hundred
kilometers. One of my colleague recommended www.autodoc.ca
Would anyone of you, by any chance, know about their service? Any good

300D climate control12 Jun 2008 21:22 GMT7
I recently bought an amazing 300D which had no manual. Can someone
share with me what the horizontal climate buttons control? I know the
far left one is for defrost and the far right turns the fans off, but
I have no idea what the middle ones do.
frozen rear brake calipers11 Jun 2008 03:46 GMT15
I did the brakes on all four wheels of my '89 300e a year or two ago and
discovered today when I had the tires rotated that both rear brake calipers
are frozen and have not been working--probably since I bought the car about
20k ago.  I only drive it once or twice a week so they ...

CLK seats sticking10 Jun 2008 17:19 GMT2
We have a wonderful CLK 200 (2005), however the front seats are very
difficult to open to get into the back seats. The lever to open them
does not appaear to relese the catch unless you put all your weight
onto the fornt seat to push it down at the same time as pulling up the

W123 Mirror Removal08 Jun 2008 00:41 GMT1
I want to remove the inside rear-view mirror. All the manual says is "Pull
off the mirror". I've pulled hard in all directions but it does not budge.
Is there a trick for this?
Thanks
ML320 - 92k miles and tuneup?07 Jun 2008 05:47 GMT1
My ML has 92k miles on it.  My mechanic said that only after 100K does it
make sense to give it a tune-up as anything under that mileage would not
benefit from the tune-up.
Is this true?
Power sear current drain fixed07 Jun 2008 05:45 GMT1
The relay that was drawing current was warm even with the key off. The relay
was "pulled in" all the time because the 2 pins that supplied the pull in
circuit were hot all the time. I could not find the reason for this. I was
unable to remove the fuse and relay box to see what ...

300SD Starter Question04 Jun 2008 16:31 GMT12
How hard it is to replace the starter? Is is a DIY or mechanic only on these
cars?
I'm looking at one '84 on eHay that has a bad starter. Just curious what I'd
be getting into.
