I get white smoke from the exhaust in my 1981 380SE. Compresssion
is OK in all 8 cylinders, but cooling water seem to penetrate
into the front left-hand cylider, as the spark plug goes all
wet. Some white steam (water) is also emerging from both valve cover

On the sides of the windshield of the w126, the windshield is
recessed into the pillars. It seems that would increase drag. Does it
hold some advantage for water removal when raining or for snow?

I have a 2002 E270 CDI Auto
the problem i have been having is that i can bedriving normally then for no
apparent reason the car will not exceed 60 mph stays arround 2000 rpm and
will not change down even on kickdown (cosiquently it slows down on uphill

Normally I don't trudge though standing water.  But if I see a street
that is lightly flooded, how deep would the water have to be to hydro
lock the engine in a 2000 ML320 and 2003 ML350?

Morning all......I picked up a 72 Merc that has 5-6 inches of
headliner in the back window that dropped and has sunrot, brittle and
will break when handled.  Is it possible to replace just the bad
liner, or do I have to replace the entire headliner?  The rest of the

The car sags in the rear end after it's been parked for a day or so.
After a couple of days it's sagging all the way down. I replaced the
reservoir tank and a line that were leaking slightly but that didn't
help though the fluid doesn't leak anymore. The rear raises back up
