According to MB (UK) the fact that my lane changing idicators fail to work
every once in a while is a design feature that I must live with.
I did demonstrate the problem in a new showroom vehicle , and had my control
stalk replaced , but it seems if the problem is difficult then it ...

My 1982 300 TD tachometer works occassionally.  Would welcome
suggestions on how I could get it working all the time again.  236,000
miles and still runs like a champ.  Thanks!!

All four (electric) windows will not open. I never had a problem before.
 When I tried to open the windows yesterday afternoon they would not
open. I spilled some coffee on the center console yesterday morning.
Could this be the cause? What about fuzes (where are they)? Any ...

So My brother has a 2001 ML320 - eats a quart of oil every 600 to 1,000
miles.  He has to carry a quart or two with me at all times.  But that
is within manufacturer's specifications so its OK.  Did the Germans
design it to eat oil?  Since I'm a product of the American public ...

The Michelin Pilot Primacy's Y rated are in need of replacement.
The pilot Primacy has apparently been superseded.
These things are not cheap so I am considering Yokohama with a 40,000 mi
warranty etc or other brand. That's a over twice what we got this set.

I recently drove my 1982 300 TDT over the Kern Plateau to the San
Joaquin Valley.  You climb 6000 ft to the top of the plateau on a
winding, steep, narrow road.  Then drive 50 miles at elevation across
the plateau to the rim of the canyon of the Kern River at 9200 ft.
