Ok folks I've just tried to carry out a full service on my sister's/nephew's 1992 Mini British Open Classic LE and whilst attempting to put in fresh oil (Castrol GTX like it matters anyway), I heard a strange glugging noise and found my garage floor becoming awash with oil.

Im looking for Mini clubs in Cambridge; Cambsmini dosent seem to be alive anymore, if anyone knows of one please let us know. Alternatively, if anyone is interested, perhaps we could setup one for the cambridge area.

Anyone have experience dealing with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation? They have denied me title to my 1970 mini. I am appealing the decision and could use any help I can get. Of course I know that the Federal NHTSA standards are met by the 25 year exclusion

was wondering if anyone has had a problem with the ignition not turning off. i can turn off and removed the key and the engine keeps on running. so to turn it off, i either disconnect the coil lead or stall it in

I have a 1972 clubman estate, which is original with its 998cc, I have owned it for 2 years and love the thing to bits, harvest gold, pretend wood down the sides, brown interior, great. Firstly I want rear seat belts, as the kids seem to slide about a lot (joke!!!!!!),

I have a couple of bits to touch up on our Open Classic, i have used a dupli colour spray before but found it a little lighter than the rest or the car. Does anyone have any experience of the best one to use (do Rover do one that is better?).

Mine has a 2" maniflow exhaust and LCB, 1.75" SU with a K&N. I have to replace my gearbox in the next couple of weeks so was thinking about fitting a lumpier cam. Im not going racing, but wouldnt mind if it went a bit faster, fuel enconemy (SP?) isnt an issue but Id

Just bought my first Mini 1000 and don¹t know if anything has been done to convert it to unleaded. Should I worry about it? Should I use gas additives? What octate gas should I use? I am in the states and can¹t really get unleaded...

I recently fitted a set of 4 gb alloys and new tyres. I also had the wheels re- aligned. BADLY! When I let go of the wheel the car tends to pull left slightly. It got worse (obviously) when I put in negative camber arms. Also the steering wheel tend to "shiver" at about 50 mph. I ...

Am i correct in assuming that the length of the drive shafts on a disc and a drum brake mini are identical and the only difference is the length of the CV joint. Or am i wrong? Cheers

So I finally broke down and bought my first Mini! A red 1973 989! Anyway, there is a kill switch mounted in the boot that kills all of the power directly from the battery. The previous owner (a dealer) suggested switching it ³off² at night or when I am not driving it.
