Ok folks I've just tried to carry out a full service on my sister's/nephew's
1992 Mini British Open Classic LE and whilst attempting to put in fresh oil

found my garage floor becoming awash with oil.

Anyone have experience dealing with the Wisconsin Department of
Transportation? They have denied me title to my 1970 mini. I am
appealing the decision and could use any help I can get. Of course I
know that the Federal NHTSA standards are met by the 25 year exclusion

I have a 1972 clubman estate, which is original with its 998cc, I have owned
it for 2 years and love the thing to bits,
harvest gold, pretend wood down the sides, brown interior, great. Firstly I

I have a couple of bits to touch up on our Open Classic, i have used a dupli
colour spray before but found it a little lighter than the rest or the car.
Does anyone have any experience of the best one to use (do Rover do one that
is better?).

Leaded vs. Unleaded16 Jul 2003 14:28 GMT1
Just bought my first Mini 1000 and don¹t know if anything has been done

wheel alignment15 Jul 2003 21:41 GMT2
I recently fitted a set of 4 gb alloys and new tyres. I also had the wheels
re- aligned. BADLY! When I let go of the wheel the car tends to pull left
slightly. It got worse (obviously) when I put in negative camber arms. Also
the steering wheel tend to "shiver" at about 50 mph. I ...

Drive shafts15 Jul 2003 15:03 GMT1
Am i correct in assuming that the length of the drive shafts on a disc and a
drum brake mini are identical and the only difference is the length of the
CV joint. Or am i wrong?
Cheers
Kill Switch in Boot14 Jul 2003 11:54 GMT2
So I finally broke down and bought my first Mini! A red 1973 989!
Anyway, there is a kill switch mounted in the boot that kills all of
the power directly from the battery. The previous owner (a dealer)
suggested switching it ³off² at night or when I am not driving it.
