Hello everyone we are trying to decipher the engine number on our 1100 motor from a 74 clubman aussie build here is the number but it does not match anything from the Leyland books. 1015/7276

I have a 1988 Mini Red Hot and I wondered if it is possible to find out which of the 1000 made my Mini is (i.e 10 of 1000). Does anybody know how I could find out? Thanks in advance,

I have a couple of completish cubman type cars & am looking at a Mk1 850 type body to buy. Will sub frames side gass & doors fit from the clubman onto the 850. I am also hopeing to use the 998 & box from the clubman. How much of the body & mech are interchangeable.

I hope someone can help. I have a K-reg mini city which someone drove into the side of last week. The guy gave me his number and car reg but said he didn't want to involve his insurance company (probably doesn't have it) He said he didn't see me cos my car was 'too small'.

I have an N reg Sprite, great little car except I have recently started getting a squeaking from the front near side, I have repIaced the engine mounting rubbers, have tried greasing all that can be greased, WD40 on various parts in and around the area but the squeak is still there.

Under the steering column on my 1990 mini cooper is a black box with a set of wire connections on one side. On the box a sticker says "Rover Part: YWC 10073". I have opened the box and it contains a simple looking circuit. I have looked on the Rover Parts list at;

1996 Mini 1275 Equinox Spi injection model <20k miles. Its running too rich and coughs when trying to accelerate hard. Not so noticable at low speeds. Exhaust very black, plugs look good.

i want a tachometer fitted to measure the RPM's. Other than the tachometer itself what else do i need?? From wat i hear it's called a speeder cable is this right?!?!?! And also information on how to install it.

Ey up Is there such a thing as a brake proportioning valve for a Mini? I'm converting to a diagonal split, and as the front brakes do most of the work on any front wheel drive car a proportioning valve needs to be used.
