Looking for a US Mini...18 Sep 2003 07:58 GMT7
I'm toying with the idea of selling my Healey 3000 and getting a Cooper.  I
guess I'm thinking I could get on pretty well done for what I could get for
my Healey.  Does anybody have any good pointers on where I could look for
one in the States.  I'm in NH.

Considering I don't know the names of half the parts in my engine, and
considering that an image speaks a few hundred words, I decided to
illustrate my questions:

Uneven acceleration / performance14 Sep 2003 22:18 GMT31
My mini went into a coma when I was on my way to London (from Liverpool)
today. REally odd:
The engine seems to be running fine up to a certain rev, then it becomes
odd, the acceleration seems to become pulsating, and even on full gas, I
Needle14 Sep 2003 14:37 GMT2
I have read a lot about needles and the difficulty of choosing one.
I have to be ignorant and ask a far more basic question:
What is a needle? Where is it? What does it do?
If anyone has a link to a website explaining it, I'd appreciate it - most

Haynes manual suggets. Just grip both sides and pull !
I'm unwilling to pull too hard because of the brittle hard plastic used,
only to find  load of screws hidden behind.
