I'm currently cleaning up some old drum brakes and am struggling to free the
adjustment screws on one of them.  Can anyone tell me whether these have to

My dads mini has a MG Metro 1300 lump installed, but didn't have the correct
dizzy (the one fitted was an 1100 mini); now got the right dizzy, but it's

I've recently bought my first mini and I'm finding driving quite painful
after more than about 1/2 an hour in the car. I'm fairly tall (5'11") and I
find moving from the accelerator pedal to the brake pedal quite difficult.
Anyone got any tips for how to sit to avoid this?

Last Thursday  I came out of the house to find I had no brakes (Pedal hit
the floor with no effort and no stopping the wheels.
So I bled the system, and they remained the same. Next was the master
cylinder, I fitted an new one, bled the system again.

I'm about to start breaking my metro, I plan to keep the engine,
brakes and a couple of other bits and then learn to weld on all the
scrap metal thats left over before taking it all to the tip.

I've just bought myself a Waxoyl rustproofing kit, consisting of a large tin
of Waxoyl a spray-gun and probe.  Has anyone used this stuff to thoroughly
rustproof their Mini?
I've heard it helps if you stand the Waxoyl tin in hot water to help the

HOORAY!!! Thanks to all of you who gave me good advice on wiring up the
spotlamps, I did it today, a really wonderful and clean job! I'd never done
anything electrical before so I'm really happy with myself and very grateful
to all you helpful lot!
