Can you help me identify the head on my 998 engine? I have taken off the
rocker cover and all I can find is the code ECAM 4004 (or EOAM) . This

I was looking for a set of wheel nuts for my sportspack alloy wheels. I am
not keen on the standard nuts as they have covers that are a real pain to
remove. Where could I get chrome nuts to suit; are they the same as those
for any other type of mini alloy wheels?

well i bought another mini a week ago and its got a weber carb but i found
out that the choke isnt connected and more that there is no air filter!!! is
this normal ?! if not please advise on wot kinda air filter is needed and

Hello all, I wonder if any of you can help me.
Firstly, can someone tell me what the recommended tyre pressures are for a
mini mayfair (E -reg '88) as i have just gotten one but it did not have the
owners handbook with it.

Unfortunately I was in a crash in my beloved mini cooper last night,
although I didn't see the extent of the damage as I was being hauled out by
paramedics (it's ok, only whiplash and a bad knee) I had a horrible gut
feeling the car may be written off.

i have bought another mini last week and i am trying to find details on what
is the right pressure for the tyres.
it's a mini mayfair 1985 modified to 13x7" alloys and got some 185x50x13"
tyres. Anyone knows what is the right pressure please?

Do these things aver wear out?

While I am repairing my mini, I bought another one off  advertised as
a Mini Chelsea, which should be  fitted with a 1000cc engine.
But it has an awful lot of power for a 1000cc, the guy I bought it off
only had it for 2 months and told me it was quick.

In today's daily rag, the Mini's at number 10 on the coolest car list,
unfortunately it shares the spot with a big german hatchback, yes that one.
