Does anyone known if or how you can disable the immobiliser on a mini (1997
mini cooper sport) using the EKA code like you can on other rovers? On my
rover 400, which uses the same type of key fob you insert the key in the
door

I just bought my first Mini, yesterday. It's an old 1979 Mini 1000
(LHD). It's been sitting since 2001, and the engine hasn't been turned
over since then, either. (around 80,000KM on the clock, )

I own a 1992 rover mini mayfair automatic catalyst 998cc carb.
1) on "hard" accleration, the second gear is engaged a few seconds or
not enaged at all (and skips from 1st to 3rd).
2) At high rpms transmission slips from 3rd to D, does not slip at low rpm,

Just bought latest copy of Mini World, advertised a sticker within, but no
sticker!
Checked the other mags there and there were no stickers there either!
Today went to another shop and the same story.

Guys,
I have a 1961 MK1 Mini with a floor mounted starter switch. Went out this
morning and flicked the key, and there was diddle squat. Normally you can
hear the electric pump doing it's thing and the ignition light comes on.

Found in my garage 2 mini radius arm repair kits. One is completely
un-opened, the other has the bag inside the box open, but I have
checked and all parts are present.
I think they cost about £10 or £15 each when new, so say £15 the pair?

I had to replace a bent driveshaft on my Mini Clubman 1979 with Metro Disks.
The one that I have got as a replacement is too long. ( I think it must be a
Metro's).  I just cannot get the hub back on.
Does anyone know the correct length so I can get a replacement ?
