GB new alloys30 Jan 2004 08:21 GMT3
I want to fit 5 x 12 GB alloys to my 1984 Mini, when the restoration reaches
the end stage.
Miniworld says that there are different offsets of wheels whether one uses
drum or disk brakes. I intend to fit 8.4" (late 12" Mini) at the front and

Head swapping - some questions29 Jan 2004 10:59 GMT4
I have reasonable mechanical knowledge but limited practical
experience working with mini engines so I thought that I'd pen down
what I intend to do and throw it to the floor in case there are any
faux pas in there.

wheel arches on custom mini - miniworld october 200328 Jan 2004 10:25 GMT2
I really love the look of the arches on the mini in miniworld mag, october
2003 issue (the one on the front cover). The problem is I've no idea what
they are and where to buy them. In the specs it says "wood and picket style
arches". They are obviously not genuine w&p as they are ...

balljoint onto the swivel hub is? I think that it's probably 45mm but
Mini Starter Motor26 Jan 2004 15:46 GMT4
Just changed my clubman (1980) starter motor and thought I would just turn
the key and go but all I get is a click and nothing.  I know the starter is
okay and the solenoid was working before I changed starter motor. Can
anybody advise what might be the problem.

hidden fuse for dim lights25 Jan 2004 17:06 GMT3
This week my headlights (dip beam) both stopped functioning. Most likely I
have blown the responsable fuse. According to the owners manual there is a
line-fuse, connected to a brown/orange lead. There are 3 line fuses behind
the air-cleaner, but not one for the dim lights. Does ...

Hi All..
I've just purchased a 1981 Clubman to restore. Now I knew when I bought it,
it needed a lot of new panels and a lot of welding (mainly on the floor, in
the usual areas i.e.. the front and rear corners of the floor. So what I'm
