Just wanted to say a big thanks for your all your advice about a month ago regarding whether to take my test in my own mini or to go through a driving school. The test went really well, it is so much easier when you're comfortable with the car, and she drove beautifully.

My car is running on 175/50/13s, but I want to use a standard 12 inch wheel as a spare. Will this be OK and if so what tyre profile would be the best to go for in terms of matching the 13s? Cheers

hiya If i were to move to NZ from Uk how easy would it be to bring my mini cooper with me ? I dont mean the shipping side but mods etc needed to bring it up ( or down ) to NZ standards ?

Hi Folks I hope you all had a great Xmas and New Years. I've got a Mini City E 1987 and it's been highly modded since new with a 1450cc motor and 13x7 Super Lites, Now my problem is the steering column shakes like mad at idle and I was wondering if there is a bushing at the top

In the next few months I'll be fitting remote central locking to my '96 mini. The whole shooting match should only cost about £25. Is anyone interested in step by step photos and parts list etc ? If so I'll probably post it on my web site.

Since I've fitted my new halogen headlight conversion kit the idle drops when the lights are switched on (main beam, not side lights). They're great, the light is impressive, but I would like to fix the problem, does anyone know how?

My question about the interior was becuase my Mini suffered a fire the other day which took out the back seat and the headlining - the carpets, fronts seats are fine. The fire was caused by a freak accident (the wheel jack came into contact with the battery according the fire ...

Can anyone tell me why my wipers won't return. I have to manually bring it down. Just changed the carbon brushes on the wiper motor.
