The girlfriend has recently purchased an orange 72 clubman. She plans on
doing it up as time and finances permit. Just a quick thought though.. can
some please tell us what the lights inside the instrument cluster are? We've
figured out the high beam is under the speedo... but we ...

Mini Air Conditioning28 Feb 2004 09:56 GMT18
I'm looking at a '64 Mini Minor and was wondering if it was at all possible
to install an air conditioning unit? Sorry, I know it's not original
equipment but essential in Australia!
Thanks in advance.
Price for 1979 1275 GT needing restoration?28 Feb 2004 08:36 GMT6
A friend has in his garage a 1979 1275GT.
From what I have gathered it went into a garage in 1989, moved to it's
current garage around 10 years ago on tow and there it's sat under a
tarp.

Im a new member with a few questions about doing up my mini.

changing front discs26 Feb 2004 15:59 GMT1
Hello, I'm in the process of changing the front brake discs,  but I'm kinda
stuck... actually the hub flange is kinda stuck... it says on the haynes
manual that once you remove the nut holding the hub flange and disc to the
driveshaft, you just pull the disc/hub flange off. Well, it ...

Strange Mini sighting - CH4, Hilter's plan to A-Bomb new York!25 Feb 2004 19:21 GMT8
Intersting docmentary on CH4 (UK) about Hitler's plans to attack New York
in WWII, including rockets, flying wings and space planes. The latter
referred to Eugen Sanger who developed a plan for a hypersonic, reusable
plane ala space shuttle. Anyhoo, there was an interview with ...
Wheelbase question25 Feb 2004 09:31 GMT10
I imagine the old-style Mini is one of the smallest cars on the road at the
moment, if not the smallest. What other cars are there or thereabouts in the
length stakes?

Emissions Problems24 Feb 2004 22:26 GMT9
I was enquiring if anyone could offer any advice to the problem I'm having
getting a 1996 multi point fuel injection mini through its MOT.
I originally passed the emissions test on the 1st test but it failed on an
un-related problem (ball joint). I rectified the problem and retested ...
Buying a Mini as a first car.24 Feb 2004 12:40 GMT2
Should have asked this in my other post, oops.
I'm looking to start driving lessons later this summer, and really fancy a
Mini Cooper. Is there a website or something which offers a buyers guide for
Minis? Especially for a first-time buyer like myself.
sticky pedal24 Feb 2004 07:52 GMT7

posts.  I now have a problem of my own, well my dad has.  I isured him that
I'd post this problem this morning and by the end of the day (GMT) he'd have
his answer.  I hope somebody can help.
replacing sills24 Feb 2004 00:11 GMT1
How dificult is it to replace the outer sills on a late mini (93)? The
sills on my mini are showing rust around the spot welds in the bottom
edges and at the fronts. I've been told it is important to keep on top
of this as they can rot quite quickly from the inside if left. What
managment systems?23 Feb 2004 19:47 GMT11
I have a k reg mini cooper, single point injection.
my car wont start.
theres loads of power from the battery, so i thought its not sparking. I got a  new dist cap and rotor arm. no change. new plugs. same. i checked if petrol was getting to the injection system, thats running fine ...
