Mounted the kerb... whats the worst that can happen?25 Mar 2004 01:14 GMT2
Yesterday I lost control of the mini resulting in it mounting a grass
verge at about 30 mph, it has bent a wheel up and it looks like it clipped
the botton of the sump as well. I managed to change the wheel no problems
and got home, but when I checked the oil this afternoon (I ...

Disc Brakes & metro parts18 Mar 2004 19:09 GMT4
I'm hunting for a pair of disc brakes for my mini. It seems the best way
to get disc brakes to get a whole set from a 1275GT series mini or the
pos-1984 mini as they call comes with standard disc.
I've heard recommendation that there're metro disc brakes, and they do

I'm in the process of stipping my rear subframe. The problem is that I
cannot remove the rubber cones from the end of the trumpets. I've
tried pulling, pushing, forcing a screwdriver down the side etc but
with no success. As with all these things I'm sure there must be a

wanted: spider-drive camshaft in Oz16 Mar 2004 15:20 GMT4
I'm almost done with doing up my cooper s engine.  I've been recommended to
use a Wade Cams 446B grind and apparently I'm also better off changing from
the pin drive cam to the spider drive because I'm told that the spider drive
is stronger and the oil pumps for them are cheaper and ...
