Help - 1991 Mini Inner CV joints - b*"tar&s wont separate16 Mar 2004 03:41 GMT3
I am trying to replace the inner CV/Diff oil seal to stop a major oil
dribble on my 1991 Mini.
I have split the wheel hub, then tried to lever/chizel between the Diff end
cap and the inner CV to get it to come

Been fitting a stereo upgrade into my girlfriends mini 1000. Due to road
noise on fast roads she wanted a little more power in her rear speakers. So

   It appears that my MINI's heater unit is leaking, It is very bad in my
point of view since radiator fluid is dripping on the floor :(
Apart from replacing that mini radiator, I'm wonder if there's any
alternatives? The unit is quite big in my POV. So maybe a smaller heater

Heres the deal, I have compressed my cone and the rest is wobbling freely.
Problem is, I cant get the knuckle to separate from the arm.  Do I just need
to apply brute force and ignorance or is there a trick to it?

Just wondering if someone can help me get to the bottom of the noises
coming from the engine of my '87 city E.
For the past few months, the clutch has been somewhat noisey when

The suspension on my niece's 98' Mini Paul Smith LE is low all round and as
a result the o/s front wheelarch has broken off due I think to it coming
into contact with the front wheel.
What's a simple fix?  Is putting spacer washers between the cone and knuckle

hi group,is it possible to reshim or change the bottom ball joint  in situ
,still on the car .
I really don't want to take the hub off if at all possible.

I'm about to service my niece's Mini Paul Smith and I'm aware as an
injection model it has a fuel filter attached to it's rear subframe.  I've
not had any experience of replacing one of these, so how often do they need
changing and how easy/difficult is it as the exhaust seems to be ...

I have a 1992 automatic mini mayfair in need of a new gearbox.  I've been offered a 1988 engine and manual gearbox, but am unsure if they are compatible.  Can I fit this in??  Does it use the same mounts, etc?  Anything else I need?
Any help is much appreciated.

worth, the rough spec is below but I suppose the price could vary a lot
