I have just bought a 1989 1275 auto metro to transfer the engine to my 1990
998cc. I have been told that my original gear box will not sync with the
engine . Is this correct or will I have to get a new box if so what type
would be best for the job ?

Has anyone (or does anyone) know of a conversion like this, for instance
putting the huge chunky tyres on, extreamly uprated engine etc.

14" or15" on it if I had those slim racing tyres fitted? Also Whats the max

Does anyone know if the filler neck design has altered for the Mini?  On the
pickup I have a plastic twist fitting.  I was given a waso petrol cap (a
fancy hexagonal shape thing with a cover for where the key goes) and was
told that it would fit a 60s or 70s mini but it has a ...
