I have just bought a 1989 1275 auto metro to transfer the engine to my 1990
998cc. I have been told that my original gear box will not sync with the
engine . Is this correct or will I have to get a new box if so what type
would be best for the job ?

Has anyone (or does anyone) know of a conversion like this, for instance
putting the huge chunky tyres on, extreamly uprated engine etc.

quotes for shipping and all I have is my guess of about 200kg.

Just wondering whats the max wheel size I can get on my mini. Could you fit
14" or15" on it if I had those slim racing tyres fitted? Also Whats the max
width you can fit on is 8" max?

Does anyone know if the filler neck design has altered for the Mini?  On the

Since I am based in New Zealand, metro turbo motors aren't exactly
thick on the ground. In fact I have never seen one.
What I do have is a late 70's 1300 motor from an all-agro(Allegro)
Bearing in mind this is an A series as against A+, what are the
