I just bought a mini from 73. Im going to try to fix it, but im pretty new
in the mini buisness.
The body work is already done and i gues i need to strip the car. The seats
and windows etc. are

I would like to pick your brains on a problem that I am aware of with the
handling on my 1989 Mini 30.
Whenever I corner, the car feel normal to any other but shortly into the
bend the backend feels light and as if its turning in a sharper radius.

I noticed that one of the flywheel housing bolts was missing from my
engine - one of the two that also hold the bracket for the lower
stabilizer arm. I took out another one to use as a pattern when I go to
get a replacement, and it has some sort of pink locking compound on the

kind that simply fits under the distributor cap) I' ve been having a really
weird problem. the tube that goes from the vacuum advance on the distributor

I have a 1990 Mini Cooper S which seems to have a slight oil leak,
investigating the problem it seems to be from one of two places;
1) The drive shaft oil seals
2) The gearbox selector rod
